Our Story

Go Green SG is a whole-of-nation movement led and coordinated by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment to rally citizens, organisations and the community to take collective action towards a more environmentally sustainable and climate-resilient Singapore. It comprises a series of sustainability-related events and activities organised by our People, Public and Private (3P) partners.

This year, Go Green SG will take place from 12 June to 14 July 2024.

You can curate your own Go Green experiences, based on individual lifestyles, personal interests and goals. With many exciting activities (e.g. behind-the-scenes sustainability tours, exclusive learning journeys, events, workshops, school and youth activities, promotions and green challenges) organised by 3P partners to choose from, everyone can go green in your own way.

2023 Highlights

More than 70,000 participants were part of Go Green SG in 2023. More than 160 partners came together to organise over 300 activities, programmes, and experiences, including behind-the-scenes tours to sites like Semakau Landfill and the Meteorological Service Singapore’s Central Forecast Office. There were also various learning journeys and workshops to cater to the different interests of participants.
