The Southern Islands Paddle Trail begins from St. John’s Island Pier and encompasses 10 stops from St. John’s Island to Lazarus Island.
Participants will get a chance to kayak along the calm waters of Eagle Bay at the final stop, guided by experienced staff who will provide insights into the islands’ ecology, conservation efforts, and historical significance.
Encounter diverse marine life such as corals, seagrass meadows, and mangrove habitats. Keep an eye out for sea turtles, reef fish, and unique coastal birds. Learn about ongoing conservation initiatives aimed at protecting the delicate marine ecosystems of the Southern Islands. Discover the rich history of these islands, including their roles as former quarantine stations and fishing villages. Enjoy picturesque views of the lush greenery as you paddle around Eagle Bay.
No swimming experience is required. This activity involves outdoor activities such as long walks and kayaking. Participants should be physically fit to enjoy the full experience.
